Need the WiFi to reach just one more room. Should I just get a range extender or do I take my chances with a costlier pppoe router? no extra users and no hd streaming all the time. yes, price does let me feel a bit bothered but I don't mind paying a bit for a good extender that could handle enough bandwidth usage

So at the risk of spelling out what a whiny person I might be judged as, here's what the situation was...
So I help this junior in my team make a change to fix an issue in qa automation and it was a decision/call I took with good reason. Now next day I'm told that change wasn't kept and was reverted. Now if I were to feel bad that _my_ change was not kept that would have been stupid of me. What hd happened instead is that some other teammate told him to change it back n I didn't even get to know
I can't decide if what I feel towards a situation today is insult that I don't deserve or just my stupid ego that deserves to be shoved up that sun don't shine place. maybe it's my culture. maybe it's what I've worked hard for. but I don't take disrespect too easily. and I'm sure it's tricky for the other person because how a certain situation or action feels offensive to me is intrinsic to me

That annoying moment when a Linux machine acts like a piece of shit. The sound won't fucking work through headphones or speakers till not only I logged out but also had to do a full fucking reboot. Probably the laptop is to blame as well.

Keeping secrets rather than confiding in people comes easier to me. I just easily go like, "meh! this person's not worth sparing/sharing my secret with" more easily than sharing it and feeling lighter or whatever.

It's official: I have taken the first steps to building out a federated alternative to #LinkedIn. The stack consists of #nginx, #Laravel, #Vue, and #postresql (tentatively). The project managemet structure is coming together over at #gitlab, and I will be pushing an initial commit tonight.
I'll get an official Mastodon account in place over the weekend, and will be opening up for any help offered.
