So I found this while scrolling through Fdroid.
Has anyone used manyvers? Does it have a Linux version? Kind of sounds like Zeronet.

Hello World!

Since I couldn't fill it all out on my Bio, here it is...

I'm a computer geek with a musical flare. I have a love for technology old and new, a love for music, and most importantly, a love for my wonderful family.

I was the co-host of a podcast called Linux Basement which is no more. You can find old episodes on The Internet Archive.

You can also find my contributed episodes on Hacker Public Radio under my name or my handle, ClaudioM. hackerpublicradio.org

@dirtycommo I spent 20+ years wheatpasting my work all over DC without a thought towards commodifying it as "pop art"; my intent was to put marginalized viewpoints in front of the public... and now, quite honestly, I'm starting to feel like a chump for it. #Banksy

Banksy art.... I don't think that he's a fan of capitalism's war on people.

The Four Essential Freedoms

β€” The freedom to run the program as you wish, for any purpose.
β€” The freedom to study how the program works, and change it.
β€” The freedom to redistribute copies so you can help others.
β€” The freedom to distribute copies of your modified versions to others.

While on distro-talk: I set my mom up with #UbuntuMate, dual booting on her Macbook, and she loves it, and uses it for most of her computing. She says the interface runs well and was easy to navigate and figure out. That says great things about Ubuntu Mate, and I'm proud of her for going for it, even though she's not a techie.

Because, Currently (A Weather Cock for the NEW TAB option on chrome died, and I had something else in the past that worked, that also died, I tried to figure out how to make my own weather clock HTML page. I gave it a whirl, and am satisfied that this Old fart can still have some fun learning things.

I'm patting myself on the back for being able to figure this out, BTW. Since I'm not any kind of expert.

If you want the code for yourself here's the link to it.

This week on GNU World Order, I talk about Itch.io, the other (other) treasure trove for Linux gaming. Also, Open Game Jam 2018 is weeks away!

Imagine if a pair of human eyes appeared, looking around the screen, whenever you were being tracked on the Internet. I think it would suddenly make everyone hyper-aware of how much they're being monitored.

Because some of the Time and Date web sites crap out over time, like Currently, etc, etc... I decided to give making my own Clock and Weather HTML page. It still needs some work. But I'm kind of proud of myself to be able to have hacked this out in about an hour or so, given that I've not played around with web site creation in some time.

The link to the code is here if you care:

β€œStarting with Chrome 69, logging into a Google Site is tied to logging into Chrome.” Ugh, so *that’s* what happened, I noticed this recently & was confused how I managed to log into Chrome. I . . . don’t like this.

- a microSD card weighs somewhere around 0.4g
- the highest capacity microSD that's easily available is 256GB
- a trebuchet can throw a 90kg projectile over 300m

90kg worth of microSD cards is 225,000 of them

Therefore a trebuchet can throw 57.6PB of data over 300m

This would have the highest throughput of any telecommunications network ever created
